Description
Packard Hood Ornament & Radiator Cap – Non Bale-Wire Type
They call her the Goddess of Speed. Once she graced the hoods of distinctive Packard automobiles, wings back as if in flight, arms outstretched, holding a disc symbolic of a tire.
This Packard hood ornament and radiator cap fits 1932-1937 Packards without the bale-wire radiator cap. Both pieces are new castings and triple chrome plated.
Designed by John D. Wilson, Packard’s Goddess of Speed was based on Nike, the divine charioteer of Greek mythology.
