Description
Replacement AMBER Guide Super Ray light 7 7/8″ glass lens. Made from original molds right here in the USA. This lens has all the proper wording and reads GUIDE – 7 7/8 DRIVING LAMP along the bottom.
The color is not a sprayed-on dye nor a film but rather a tinting agent that is FIRED ON the lens in a kiln. Very high quality reproduction.
NOTE:
For those who are curious about the tinting agent coming off the lens. I tried using lacquer thinner, acetone and Naptha and a rough, green scrub pad and the color didn’t come off. The sheen got a little duller because of the scrubbing but the color stayed on.
