1937 Cord 812 Custom Beverly
Whisper-quite engine, smooth transmission, and fully rebuilt brakes.
Due to Rick’s ongoing health issues, we are unable to complete this restoration. This is a rare opportunity to own a 1937 Cord 812 Custom Beverly that is mechanically original and in very good condition.
The engine runs whisper quiet and smooth, the transmission shifts like the day it was made, and the tires are in very good condition.
Here at White Glove we rebuilt the brakes with new wheel cylinders and shoes. We also serviced the wheel bearings, and the stainless steel sleeved the master cylinder. The car now stops on a dime.
We have the gas flap and door handle not shown in photos. New windshield frame has been ordered and is back from the chrome shop but yet to be installed. The hub caps, all bumper, and the “towel bars” have all been rechromed and are ready to install.
The leather seats are very nice, as well as the headliner. But the door panels should really be redone.
A paint job, new door panels, and new carpeting, would produce a wonderful, show-winning car.
