The 1930 Bonneville Hupp was built by Dr. Norbert Knoch of Denver, Colorado. He was the personal physician to Ab Jenkins, who drove the 1935 Duesenberg Marmon Meteor.

This 1932 Hupmobile Model 222, Raymond-Lowey-designed car is equipped with a brand new 300 cubic inch Ford truck engine and full-synchro transmission. These were bought new from a Ford dealer, not rebuilt—a beautiful installation, this car runs cool and strong.
